Richard Whittington is Professor of Strategic Management at the Said Business School and Millman Fellow at New College, University of Oxford. His main current research area is 'strategy as practice', with a particular focus on the evolution of strategic planning and strategy consulting from the 1960s to today. He is on the editorial boards of Long Range Planning, Organization Science, Organization Studies and the Strategic Management Journal.
