Gabriel R.G. Benito (PhD, Norwegian School of Economics) is Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo, Norway. A former president (2005) of EIBA (European International Business Academy) he is Co-Editor of Global Strategy Journal and Consulting Editor of Journal of International Business Studies, and on the editorial review boards of Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of World Business, International Business Review, and Management International Review. He was elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business in 2015, and Fellow of EIBA in 2017. His research agenda currently focuses on the structure and behavior of multinational enterprises, corporate governance, and the economic organization of international business. His books include Foreign Operation Methods (w/ Welch and Petersen, 2018 (2nd edition), Edward Elgar), and Multinationals on the Periphery (w/ Narula, 2007, Palgrave). His research has appeared in many books and journals, including Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Economic Geography, Global Strategy Journal, Applied Economics, Managerial and Decision Economics, Management International Review, Journal of Business Research, and International Business Review.
